Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

According to , 49.76 inches is the average YEARLY rainfall at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport.

But parts of Texas are seeing that rainfall in ONE week because of Hurricane Harvey.

As of today, August 31st, over 30,000 citizens are residing in emergency shelters in the areas hit the hardest. Sadly, many family pets were left behind, lost or abandoned because of the severity of the storm.

Because of this, we knew that we had to get involved. Thanks to our amazing Texas Volunteer team, we have boots on the ground in Austin to donate items to the shelters and rescues who need it the most! We have been able to donate hundreds of pounds of supplies so far to San Antonio Animal Care Services, new crates to Williamson Country Regional Animal Shelter  and will be making donations to Bastrop Animal Shelter, WAGS rescue, Central Texas Pig Rescue and anywhere else we can help! As a small nonprofit, we are focused on helping the smaller shelters and rescues who aren’t going viral on social media. Our Texas team is also hoping to keep a consistent inventory of pet supplies to continue helping the shelters and rescues over the next few months as donations begin to die off. Sadly, this catastrophic event will take months (and years) for cities and citizens to fully recover from. Our volunteers recognize that this is a marathon and not a sprint.

What we need from YOU is monetary donations. 100% of the funds raised will be going to this relief effort. We are working directly with the directors and volunteers at each facility to get them the supplies they need the most.

If you are able to help us with donations, our paypal address is

Thank you so much for anything you can do. All donations are tax deductible and we will see to it that they go straight towards helping the animals affected by Hurricane Harvey.
