3.1(c)(3) (Non-Critical) – Housing facilities, general.
There is visible accumulation of light tan dust/powdery debris on counters, shelves, retail items and the main horizontal hvac conduit and vent near the center of the store. The accumulation of dust is enough to coat a finger when running a finger over these surfaces, The affected surfaces are in store areas where rescue and adoption cats are allowed to roam and have direct contact with these surfaces. Accumulation of dust on surfaces indicates inadequate frequency of cleaning and sanitation of these areas. Accumulated dust may harbor allergens or pathogens harmful to animals in contact with these areas. Surfaces of animal facilities must be cleaned and sanitized as often as necessary to reduce disease hazards and meet husbandry standards. Correct by 12-26-2025. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the facility owner. n
