3.13(b)(2) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
Approximately 10 percent of the dogs were identified with moderate to severe dental disease on their annual exam on April 13, 2024. However, their individual medical records do not indicate a plan for treatment and care. Although the program of veterinary care states that licensee will “scale” the teeth as needed, there is no documentation on any of the affected dog’s medical records indicating that their severity of dental disease warrants “scaling” of the teeth nor is there any documentation that this treatment was performed. It is important to document all planned treatments and procedures performed on individual dogs that have had a problem identified on their physical exam to ensure they are receiving appropriate veterinary care. Correct by May 30, 2024 This inspection and exit interview were conducted with a facility representative. n

A responsible adult was not available to accompany APHIS Officials during the inspection process at 10:10am on April 16, 2026. The inspector attempted to contact the licensee by phone and waited 30 minutes. Failure to provide access to the facility, animals, and records for inspection is a violation of the AWA and regulations. Continued failure to provide access is serious and may result in enforcement action. End Section
