3.11(a) (Non-Critical) – Cleaning, sanitization, housekeeping, and pest control.
*** Feces are not being fully removed from the floor enclosures once daily and several of the wire mesh enclosures have feces that are not falling through the mesh to the floor. These areas need to be spot cleaned once daily and feces removed to prevent soiling of the dogs and for their health and well being. Correct by: Feb 13, 2021

3.13(a)(4) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
*** One poodle identified as # 79 “Ranger” was visibly matted in the chest area. The dog could not be handled to determine the extent of the matted fur. This dog should be groomed prior to becoming this matted as matted fur pulls and separates from the skin causing potential skin irritation. Grooming should be done on a scheduled basis as part of preventative care for the dogs. Correct by: Feb 14, 2021 This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee. End Section

3.9(a) (Non-Critical) – Feeding
A female Shih Tzu, “Jada” (no id) was in the whelping box nursing puppies. She was thin and her ribs, lumbar vertebrae and pelvic bones were easily visible, with no palpable fat. The licensee states that she is on a higher quality dry puppy food, but based on her condition and the nutritional needs she requires to nurse puppies, additional supplementation of nutritive value should be provided to maintain the normal condition and weight of the animal during this life stage. Another female Shih Tzu, “Glorianna” #260 who is pregnant and due to whelp soon was also thin and her ribs, lumbar vertebrae and pelvic bones were easily visible, with no palpable fat. This dog is also on higher quality dry puppy food, but based on her condition and the nutritional needs she requires to nurse puppies, additional supplementation of nutritive value should be provided to maintain the normal condition and weight of the animal during this life stage. 3.11(a) (Non-Critical [REPEAT]) – Cleaning, sanitization, housekeeping, and pest control.
There is a large accumulation of feces that has not been removed from the outdoor run for the three large breed dogs. Fecal and food waste must be removed from primary enclosures daily to prevent the dogs from becoming soiled and to reduce disease hazards, pests and odors.
