3.13(a)(3) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
Licensee had not followed the Program of Veterinary Care (POV) that required a yearly heartworm test to be conducted. Lack of yearly heartworm testing could allow for an undiagnosed parasitic infection with serious complications or cause death of the dog. Licensee must follow the guidance provided by the POV to ensure diagnostic and preventative measures are adhered to for the health of the animal. This is a 1st Re-License Inspection for a Class “A” license. The inspection and exit briefing were conducted with the applicant. All items must be in compliance within 2 more inspection(s) or by January 30, 2026 or the applicant will forfeit the license fee and must wait 6 months to reapply.
