** The facility does not have a contingency plan in place. All licensees must have a emergency/disaster. ** The facility does not have a current program of veterinary care for dogs. The facility must develop, documented in writing and signed by the attending veterinarian. The program must include all preventive vaccinations to include rabies, all parasitic preventions to include testing for internal parasites. A yearly hands on head to tail exam by a veterinarian, to include a site visit not less than once every 12 months. Also include methods to ensure healthy hair coats, healthy and clean eyes, ears, skin and teeth. All licensees with regulated dogs are required to have a program of veterinary care for dogs to provide for the health and well-being of the dogs.
