3.6(a)(2)(i) (Non-Critical) – Primary enclosures.
About seven enclosure dividers have a metal edge that has rusted through in areas and has rough edges exposed where dogs could contact the edge. Also one enclosure was observed to have a broke drain cover with rough edges that the dog could touch. Rough edges or points that dogs can contact could hurt dogs. Ensure to maintain surfaces that dogs can touch free from any edges or points that can cause injury. ***Correct by 11/20/2024.

3.8 (Non-Critical) – Exercise for dogs.
The written Exercise Plan for Dogs that has been developed with and approved by the attending veterinarian (AV) was not available for inspection. An exercise plan with written standard procedures must be approved by the AV and available for inspection and helps ensure dogs have adequate space and opportunity for exercise. Ensure to work with the AV to develop and maintain a written program of exercise. ***Correct by 11/29/2024. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with a facility representative. n
