3.6(a)(2)(ii) (Non-Critical) – Primary enclosures.
Enclosures housing approximately 12 adult dogs and 8 puppies are not protecting the animals from injury. Numerous icicles ranging in size up to approximately 1-2 feet in length are hanging above the doors leading from the inside portion of the enclosures to the outside runs. If icicles fall on the animals it may cause pain, suffering, injury, and possible death. Primary enclosures must be constructed and maintained so that they protect the animals from injury. Correct by ensuring that the enclosures protect the animals from injury. Correct by 22-FEB-2025. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee. n
