The licensee must record the sampling of adult dogs that will be tested for heartworm and fecal float. Correct by 3/1/24.
3.13(a)(4) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
* The preventive care section of the program of veterinary care (PVC) is incomplete for 116 dogs. It states “routine care” under the clean and healthy eyes, ears, and skin sections. Outlining what routine care will be provided is essential to the health and wellbeing of the dog. The program of veterinarian care establishes standards of care for the animals. A completed written program of veterinary care is important for the care of the animals and ensures clear and accurate communication between the facility and the attending veterinarian.
