There was no written program of veterinary care at time of inspection and the attending veterinarian had not visited the facility since August 21, 2019. An attending veterinarian’s regularly scheduled visits and a written program of veterinary care must be provided for the animals to ensure their continued health and well-being is monitored appropriately. Each dealer shall employ an attending veterinarian that will examine every breeding animal head to tail, document findings, provide husbandry advice, healthcare screening, and compose a thorough written program of veterinary care with regularly scheduled visits to be followed by the dealer.
