2.40(b)(2) (Non-Critical) – Attending veterinarian and adequate veterinary care (dealers and exhibitors).
A 2 year old black and white female French Bulldog named “Kandy Chips” (microchip #990000006954290) had hair loss on the right and left back thighs of the dog. The skin was reddened and appeared to be slightly irritated. Another dog, a 7 year old male blue spotted French Bulldog (microchip #977200009306276), had a moderate amount of tartar buildup on the left side of it’s mouth, specifically the canine. In addition, there was a round raised reddened swelling in between the top incisor and top canine on the left side of the mouth. Neither dog is currently under treatment by the Attending Veterinarian. Skin issues left untreated can be irritating and cause discomfort to the dog. In addition, depending on the cause it could be contagious to other dogs and people. Dental issues left untreated can become painful. In addition, it can become infected and lead to systemic infection. The attending veterinarian must be contacted and each dog must be treated per his/her instructions. Correct by 7/18/24.
3.13(b)(3) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
No distemper/parvo vaccine has been documented for Adell, Judy, or Showtime Girl. Not having documentation of all vaccines for all dogs doesn’t ensure that the dogs are adequately protected from the diseases that the vaccine is supposed to protect against. The licensee must accurately document all vaccines given to all dogs in a timely manner moving forward. Correct by 7/18/24. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee. End of report. Additional Inspectors: Samantha Talley, VETERINARY MEDICAL OFFICER Darren Rausch, VETERINARY MEDICAL OFFICER n
