3.13(b)(4) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
The facility had the dogs physically examined by the attending veterinarian in June 2025, but the written results of the exams could not be located. Failure to maintain the results of the physical exams may interfere with the ability of APHIS officials to determine if the dogs are receiving adequate veterinary care. Dealers must keep copies of medical records including the results of any routine or required tests and examinations. The licensee must ensure the results of all physical examinations of the dogs are documented on a medical record and available for APHIS inspection. To be corrected by: The licensee was verbally instructed that beginning June 24, 2026, the facility must keep a copy of all medical records including examination results. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the facility representative. n
