In the cabinet, there were several medications that expired or labels did not provide an expiration date. The medications without an expiration date were Ketoconazole, Prednisone and Rimadyl. The medications that expired were AmoxiTabs, Zymox and Trazadone. Expired medications can lose their effectiveness or become toxic, leading to a delay in proper diagnosis and treatment. These expired medications and improperly labeled medications should not be used for covered species such as dogs. All medications at a licensed facility that are being used for covered species must be consistent with providing adequate veterinary care to prevent, control, diagnose and treat disease and injuries. Correct by December 10, 2025. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the owner. n
