** Two enclosures had broken wires creating sharp points that could injure the dogs. The enclosures must be repaired or replaced to eliminate sharp points. The licensee must ensure that all enclosures are free of sharp points that could injure the dogs. To be corrected by: 07-23-21. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee. 2.132(d) (Non-Critical) – Procurement of dogs, cats, and other animals; dealers.
** No dealer shall knowingly obtain any dog from any person who is not licensed, without obtaining a certificate that the animals were born and raised on that person’s premises and if for pets, that person does not have more than four breeding females. The facility purchased a female miniature Schnauzer on or around 10 Aug 2025 from an unlicensed source and did not obtain a certification statement that the seller was not required to be licensed with the USDA. The facility must obtain a certification statement every time they obtain a regulated animal from an unlicensed source. To be corrected: from this day forward; 06 Jan 2026.
