There were 4 primary enclosures containing adult Basset Hounds, two housing the dam with her puppies, with significant brown coating of dirt and grime along the walls of the sheltered housing. Dirt and grime was localized to the bottom third portion of the kennel and extended along all indoor primary enclosure walls. The outer portion of the sheltered facility had the buildup of dirt and grime located on doggie doors and on the left side of the wall adjacent to it. All surfaces that have a buildup of dirt and grime can be a source of possible health hazards and bacteria due the them not being able to be cleaned and sanitized properly. Hard surfaces with which the dogs or cats come in contact must be spot-cleaned daily and sanitized in accordance with section 3.11(b). Correct by Feb 10, 2026.
