3.11(b)(2) (Non-Critical) – Cleaning, sanitization, housekeeping, and pest control.
The outdoor part of the sheltered enclosures hasn’t been sanitized in months. The licensee wasn’t sure when he last sanitized the outdoor part of the enclosures. The outdoor walls had grime/dirt built up around the doggy doors. The watering source for the dogs has never been sanitized. Not sanitizing the enclosures and watering source on a biweekly basis allows for fecal material and grime to build up which can contribute to the spread of disease. The licensee must sanitize the enclosures and watering source every two weeks to prevent the accumulation of dirt, debris, excreta, and other disease hazards. Correct by 3/4/26.
3.13(a)(3) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
Seven adult dogs are not current on their distemper or parvo shots. Not vaccinating all adult dogs against distemper and parvo doesn’t ensure those dogs are adequately protected against those diseases. All adult dogs must be current on their vaccination against distemper and parvo. Correct by 3/25/26. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee. End of report.
