3.13(b)(3) (Non-Critical) – Veterinary care for dogs.
There are no current records for the dates of administration of the distemper and parvovirus vaccines. Licensee states he has been administering these vaccines yearly to the adults, but forgot to record the dates. The last dates recorded on most of the dogs occurred in 2023. Failure to document the vaccination of animals makes it difficult to know if they were given and to evaluate if they are receiving adequate veterinary care. The licensee must keep and maintain medical records that include the names of all vaccines and treatments administered, and the dates of administration. This is the 1st Re-License Inspection for a Class “A” license. The inspection and exit briefing were conducted with the applicant. All items must be in compliance within 2 more inspection(s) or by October 24, 2025 or the applicant will forfeit the license fee and must wait 6 months to reapply. Please contact your inspector to schedule your next Re-License Inspection. Regulated activity can continue under your existing USDA license until it expires. n
