A responsible adult was not available to accompany APHIS Officials during the inspection process from 11:15am – 11:55am on September 8, 2022. The inspector spoke to the licensee’s wife who stated that the licensee was off site for the day. End Section

3.6(a)(2)(ix) (Non-Critical) – Primary enclosures.
Several of the vertical strips of PVC composite material, used in the small breed dog enclosures, have areas of chew damage. The damage ranges from deep scratches in the material to areas where most of the material has been chewed off the wall. It’s important for primary enclosures to be kept in good repair to ensure that the surfaces can be cleaned appropriately and that dogs are not consuming materials which could affect their health. Primary enclosures must be constructed and maintained so that all surfaces in contact with the dogs are able to be readily cleaned and sanitized or replaced when worn or soiled. Correct by: 8/28/2023. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with the licensee. n
