2.50(a)(2) (Non-Critical) – Time and method of identification.
A method of identification for all puppies less than 16 weeks of age is not currently being used. Nine puppies (5 Havanese puppies born on 14-November-2025 and 4 Poodle puppies born 20-November-2025) did not have any form of identification at the time of inspection. Failure to ensure that puppies are identified properly impedes APHIS officials’ ability to ensure disease identification, treatment, and trace back, or in cases of theft or loss. Class “A” dealers shall identify all live dogs on the premises. Correct by ensuring proper identification is used, documented, and maintained for all dogs at the facility. Correct by, 19-January-2026. This inspection and exit interview were conducted with a Facility Representative. n
